Amy Roche is a retailer, marketer and in-store customer experience champion with a passion for helping retailers re-connect with customers. Amy appraoched SevenDev when she required an e-commerce platform to sell her new book called The Retail Experiment. SevenDev was able to provide amy with a custom landing page that promotes her book backed with a simplistic shopping cart for a simplistiic e-commerce experience.
As a single page website promoting a book, every design choice was made to best sell the product to the user. We achieve this by combining high quality visual elements with descriptive marketing material. Big and bold was the theme whilst keeping the user needs in mind for the purchasing process.
Because of Amy's background in marketing she had a very clear idea of what she wanted her site to achieve. Due to this, the design and development process was quick with the process only taking a few weeks. The Retail Experiment website was built using a custom theme and powered by SevenDev's optimised framework that provides great site stability, performance and flexibility. It has full Mailchimp integration for email subscriptions, is mobile and tablet ready and integrates with a number of payment gateways.
